Description

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 package (16 oz) frozen tater tots

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  • Brown the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the beef until fully browned and crumbly, about 7 to 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  • Mix in the soup: Stir the condensed cream of mushroom soup into the browned beef. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Assemble the casserole: Transfer the beef mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly across the bottom.
  • Add the tater tots: Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the beef mixture.
  • Top with cheese: Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese generously over the tater tots.
  • Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown and the casserole is bubbling hot.
