6 oz cream cheese, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 11×17-inch jelly roll pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla, then beat until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Slowly combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, mixing until everything is well blended.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden and the center is firm to the touch.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before frosting.
- To prepare the frosting, blend the butter, cream cheese, vanilla, salt, powdered sugar, and milk until the mixture is creamy and easy to spread.
- Spread frosting evenly over cooled bars, then slice into squares and serve.
Notes
For best results, use room-temperature butter and cream cheese.
