Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce (hickory brown sugar recommended)

  • 1 cup bourbon

  • ½ cup honey

  • ⅓ cup molasses

  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 pounds fully cooked frozen meatballs, thawed

  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, bourbon, honey, molasses, sweet chili sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Place thawed meatballs into your slow cooker.

  • Drizzle the sauce over the meatballs and toss gently to coat them evenly.

  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use turkey, beef, pork, or plant-based meatballs.

  • To reduce the sweetness, cut the honey in half or use a low-sugar barbecue sauce.
