Description

Red White and Blue Fruit Salad is fresh, festive, and full of juicy summer fruits. Perfect for patriotic holidays. Make it today!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small seedless watermelon or ½ large, cubed

  • 8 apples (1 reserved for stars)

  • ½ yellow honeydew melon, cubed

  • 4 cups strawberries, halved or quartered

  • 2 cups raspberries

  • 2 cups blueberries

  • 1 cup red grapes

  • 1 cup blackberries

  • Lemon juice (1 tbsp per 1 cup water for apple soak)

Instructions

  • Wash and dry all fruits.

  • Cube watermelon, honeydew, and apples. Slice strawberries as needed.

  • Soak apple slices in lemon water (1 tbsp lemon juice per cup of water) for 10 minutes if prepping ahead.

  • Layer blueberries and blackberries in the top left corner of the tray.

  • Create alternating red and white fruit stripes to form the flag.

  • Slice one apple horizontally and cut stars using a small cookie cutter. Place stars on the blue fruit section.

Notes

Chill fruits before assembling for extra refreshment. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Use firm fruits for best texture. Try variations with canary melon, mango, or a citrus-honey dressing.
