This Peach Cobbler Recipe features juicy, sweet peaches and a simple, buttery cobbler topping baked until golden and crisp. It’s a classic, easy dessert you can make with fresh or frozen peaches—all in one pan!
Ingredients
7 Tbsp unsalted butter (100g)
6 large yellow peaches (about 900g), peeled and sliced
¼ cup packed brown sugar (55g)
¼ cup granulated sugar (50g)
Cobbler Topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
¾ cup granulated sugar (150g)
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup milk (180ml)
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice butter and place in 9×13″ dish. Melt in oven.
Cook peaches with sugars until syrupy, about 3–5 mins.
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in milk.
Pour batter over melted butter (do not stir).
Spoon peach mixture with juices on top. Leave gaps for topping to rise.
Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and springy.
Cool 10–15 mins before serving.
Notes
Don’t overcook the peaches—they’ll soften more while baking.
Leave gaps when adding peaches to let the topping bubble through.
If the topping browns too fast, tent loosely with foil.
Serve warm with ice cream or yogurt for a cozy finish.
