Ingredients

Dough:

  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

  • 1/2 cup warm water (105โ€“115ยฐF)

  • 1/2 cup half and half (or milk or cream)

  • 3โ€“3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 Tbsp softened butter

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Filling:

  • 3 Tbsp melted butter

  • 1/2 cup peach jam

  • 1 cup diced fresh peaches

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar

  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 4 oz cream cheese

  • 2โ€“3 Tbsp milk

  • 1/4โ€“1/2 cup powdered sugar


Instructions

  • Activate yeast in warm water until foamy.

  • Combine yeast mixture with half and half, butter, sugar, salt, egg, and vanilla.

  • Gradually add flour until dough forms.

  • Knead dough, then let rise until doubled.

  • Roll dough into rectangle, spread butter and jam, add peaches and sugars.

  • Roll up tightly, slice into rolls, and let rise again.

  • Bake at 375ยฐF for 15โ€“17 minutes.

  • Beat glaze ingredients until smooth.

  • Spread glaze on warm rolls and serve.


Notes

  • For best results, use ripe but firm peaches.

  • Cut rolls with dental floss for even slices.

  • Glaze while rolls are warm for a melt-in effect.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temp for 2 days or refrigerate for 5.
