1 pound (450 g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

8 ounces (225 g) noodles (lo mein or spaghetti)

2 cups chicken broth

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add chicken and sautรฉ 5โ6 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, cook garlic and onion until fragrant.

Stir in honey, soy sauce, hoisin, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes.

Add chicken broth and uncooked noodles. Stir well, cover, and cook 8โ10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
