Description

These adorable Mummy Pretzel Rods are the perfect no-bake Halloween treat! Made with just pretzel rods, white almond bark, and candy eyes, they’re easy to assemble and guaranteed to impress. Fun to make with kids and perfect for parties or spooky snack trays.

Ingredients

Scale

12 pretzel rods

12 oz white almond bark (or white chocolate melting wafers)

24 edible candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Prep your workspace. Line a large baking sheet with parchment or wax paper and set aside.
  • Melt the coating. Place 12 oz of white almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, then continue in 30‑second bursts until fully melted. Let it cool slightly for a few minutes.
  • Transfer to piping bag. Place a large disposable piping bag inside a tall glass for stability. Pour in the melted almond bark.
  • Dip the pretzel rods. One at a time, dip each pretzel rod into the melted coating, covering about three-quarters of its length. Allow excess to drip off, then place it on your prepared sheet.
  • Add the eyes. Before the coating sets, press two candy eyes onto each coated pretzel where you want the mummy’s face.
  • Create the mummy wraps. Snip a tiny hole at the tip of the piping bag. Drizzle remaining coating over each pretzel in a zig-zag pattern to mimic mummy bandages.
  • Set to dry. Let the finished pretzels rest for at least 30 minutes until the coating is fully firm. If any excess coating looks uneven, gently trim it with a small, sharp knife.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Avoid refrigeration or freezing to prevent coating from sweating. For best results, work quickly and decorate while coating is still soft
