- ¾ cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs

- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 36 maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Chop the maraschino cherries into quarters and eighths. Roll in a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Cream butter and sugars. Beat on high for 2 minutes, then scrape down the sides.
- Add eggs, almond extract, and vanilla extract. Beat for 1 more minute.
- Mix in dry ingredients until just combined—avoid overmixing.
- Add maraschino cherries and white chocolate chips. Mix briefly.
- Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until light golden brown.

- Do not overmix the dough to keep cookies tender.
