Ingredients
4 cups uncooked egg noodles
2 cups diced cooked ham
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 medium onion, finely chopped
½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
¼ cup dry bread crumbs
Instructions
- Prepare the oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 2-quart casserole dish.

- Assemble the casserole: Transfer mixture into the prepared dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
- Bake: Cook uncovered for 40 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
Notes
For extra crunch, toss the breadcrumbs with 1 tablespoon of melted butter before sprinkling on top.
Add veggies like peas, broccoli, or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
Substitute the Swiss cheese with cheddar or a blend for a different flavor profile.
Assemble ahead of time, cover, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
