Ingredients
16 oz rotini pasta
2 lb chicken tenderloins, chopped
1 stick unsalted butter
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp honey Dijon mustard
2 tsp paprika (divided)
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 cup diced onion
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup heavy cream
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Drizzle of oil for cooking
Instructions
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
Season chopped chicken with 1 tsp paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat to medium-low. Add butter, garlic, Worcestershire, mustard, remaining paprika, cayenne, parsley, red pepper flakes, and onion. Stir until melted and onions are soft.
Return chicken and pasta to the pan. Stir to coat.
Add lemon juice and heavy cream. Mix well. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Save pasta water to thin the sauce if it becomes too thick.
Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
Add grated Parmesan for a cheesy twist.
Adjust spices based on heat preference.
