Description

Ingredients

  • 16 oz rotini pasta

  • 2 lb chicken tenderloins, chopped

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey Dijon mustard

  • 2 tsp paprika (divided)

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 cup diced onion

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Drizzle of oil for cooking


Instructions

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

  • Season chopped chicken with 1 tsp paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Lower heat to medium-low. Add butter, garlic, Worcestershire, mustard, remaining paprika, cayenne, parsley, red pepper flakes, and onion. Stir until melted and onions are soft.

  • Return chicken and pasta to the pan. Stir to coat.

  • Add lemon juice and heavy cream. Mix well. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Save pasta water to thin the sauce if it becomes too thick.

  • Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.

  • Add grated Parmesan for a cheesy twist.

  • Adjust spices based on heat preference.
