8 ounces cream cheese, softened
16 ounces Cool Whip, divided
1 cup powdered sugar
5.1 ounces instant vanilla pudding
5.1 ounces instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
Chocolate syrup
Chocolate curls or chopped candy (optional)
Instructions
First Layer
- Place the Oreo cookies (with filling) in a food processor and pulse until finely crumbled. Reserve one cup of crumbs for topping.
- Combine the remaining Oreo crumbs with the melted butter.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while you prepare the next layer.
Second Layer
- In a large bowl, whip the softened cream cheese until it becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add one cup of powdered sugar and mix well.
- Fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
- Spread this creamy layer evenly over the chilled crust. Return the dish to the refrigerator.
Third Layer
- In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate and vanilla pudding mixes with the milk until thickened.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
Fourth Layer
- Top the pudding layer with the remaining 8 ounces of Cool Whip.
- Sprinkle reserved Oreo crumbs over the top.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup and add chocolate curls or chopped candy if desired.
- Chill until set, preferably for several hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
For best results, chill for several hours or overnight. Use room temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps. Add garnishes just before serving.
