Description
This Chicken Caesar Wrap recipe takes the classic Caesar salad flavors—creamy dressing, crisp romaine, juicy chicken—and rolls them into a soft tortilla for a delicious and portable meal you’ll crave again and again.
Ingredients
3 cups chopped rotisserie or grilled chicken
3 packed cups romaine lettuce (about ⅔ head)
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
⅓ cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
1 avocado, diced
5 large burrito-size tortillas, warmed
Dressing:
⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp olive oil
4 anchovy fillets, mashed (~1½ tsp paste)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp minced garlic (1 clove)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Make the Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, olive oil, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Worcestershire, Dijon, garlic, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning as needed. - Toss the Salad
In a large bowl, combine chicken, romaine, tomatoes, and Parmesan. Pour the dressing over the mixture and use tongs to toss until evenly coated. - Add Avocado
Gently fold in the diced avocado to distribute evenly without mashing. - Assemble Wraps
Lay tortillas flat. Spoon the salad mixture in a line down the center, then fold and roll burrito-style. Optionally, tuck in the ends first to secure the filling. - Serve
Cut each wrap in half crosswise to serve.
Notes
For best flavor, serve wraps immediately after assembling. Use grilled or rotisserie chicken for convenience. To make ahead, store components separately and assemble just before eating.
