Ingredients
1 package refrigerated biscuits (8-count, like Pillsbury)
1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
6 large eggs
½ cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (2.3 oz) package peppered gravy mix
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
Cut biscuits into quarters and layer evenly in the dish.
Spread sausage over the biscuit layer. Top with shredded cheese.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over the cheese.
Prepare gravy according to package directions. Pour evenly over the top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden and center is set.
Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
