Description

Best Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate is rich, creamy, and made with real chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream. It’s the easiest way to make a big batch of cozy hot cocoa for any winter gathering or relaxing evening at home

Ingredients

Scale

6 cups whole milk

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add the milk, chocolate chips, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract into the bowl of your slow cooker.
  • Stir everything together until well combined.
  • Secure the lid on the slow cooker and set it to the Low heat setting.
  • Allow the mixture to simmer for approximately 2 hours, stirring now and then to help the chocolate melt thoroughly and evenly.
  • Once fully melted and smooth, reduce the heat to Warm and serve directly from the slow cooker.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate chips for best flavor. For a festive twist, add peppermint extract or top with marshmallows and whipped cream. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat gently before serving.
