Ingredients

2 lb frozen hash browns, thawed

1 lb pork sausage

1 small onion, diced

5 large eggs

½ cup milk
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
⅛ tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

Spread hash browns evenly in the bottom of the dish.

Cook sausage and onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain.

In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Pour egg mixture over hash browns.

Sprinkle half the cheese over the egg layer.

Add sausage and onions, then top with remaining cheese.

Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes.

Uncover and bake 10 more minutes until set.

Rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
